Jay is admitted to practice law before all the courts in Ohio, the United States Federal Court Southern District of Ohio, the United States Bankruptcy Court, and the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University, his Masters in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University, and his Juris Doctorate degree from Northern Kentucky University Chase College of Law, where he was a published member of law review and participated on multiple competition teams.
Jay brings a variety of experiences for his clients: Judicial Law Clerk for a Hamilton County Court of Common Plea Judge; Judicial Summer Law Clerk for a United States Federal Court Judge; and Law Clerk for a local law firm in Reading, Ohio. Prior to that, Jay worked exclusively in the financial services industry and coached high school basketball.
Presently, in addition to serving as the principal attorney of Wampler Law Firm, Jay serves as a Hamilton County Assistant Prosecutor. Jay is a member of The American Bar Association, The Federal Bar Association, The Ohio State Bar Association, and The Cincinnati Bar Association.
When Jay is not representing the rights of clients, he devotes his time to being a husband and father of three children. In addition, he is an active member of his church, enjoys all types of sports, and serves as a board member of local non-profits.
